1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number.
Verification information: ID type, ID number, physical address, and a photo of your ID (if you submit for seller verification).
Listing content: property details, photos, and videos you upload.
Usage information: saved searches, wishlist items, listing views, and reviews you write.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate the Platform: displaying listings, enabling contact between buyers and sellers, and processing subscription/feature payments you submit.
To verify seller identity and reduce fraud.
To send transactional emails (welcome messages, payment confirmations, expiry reminders) and in-app notifications.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is processed by these service providers, solely to operate the Platform:

Google Firebase — hosting, database, authentication, and file storage.
Google Maps Platform — location display and nearby-places search.
Gmail (via nodemailer) — sending transactional emails.

Your phone number is shown to other users only when you submit a listing (so buyers/renters can contact you) — it is never shown publicly on your account profile itself.

4. Your ID Verification Documents

ID documents are stored privately and are only accessible to you and ZiHome administrators for verification purposes. They are never displayed publicly on the Platform.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. No system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot guarantee against all possible data breaches.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal profile data is removed; listings you created may remain on the Platform for continuity of past transactions, but will no longer be linked to an active account.

7. Your Rights

You can update your name and password, and delete your account, at any time from your Profile page. To request a copy of your data or ask questions about this policy, contact ZiTechnologies via the WhatsApp link on the Platform.

8. Children's Privacy

ZiHome is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
